Ich mag die Hose auf dem Titel.Doch ihr Schnitt ist nicht im Buch.Auch sonst scheint mir das Buch ein völlig überflüssiges "me-too"-Exemplar zum Trendthema Japanische Mode.Von 20 Schnitten gibt es drei Hosenschnitte: eine ganz gute wadenlange Hose. Und zwei kurze: eine Culottes und eine mit extrem tiefen Schnitt."borrowed form the boys", wie angekündigt, ist in dem Buch m.E. nichts: artige Blusen mit Bubikragen, ein Rock, ein Minikleid, das gerade übliche Shirt mit Wasserfallkragen ...Sieben Modelle sind in Schwarz genäht und vor schwach ausgeleutetem Grau fotografiert. Man erkennt hier kein Detail.Ach ja, wie üblich bei japanischen Schnitten ist die L mit 90 cm Brustumfang und 98 cm Hüftumfang nicht mit unserer L zu vergleichen. Für Hosen wäre das bei mir sogar o.k. gewesen...Kurz: ein völlig überflüssiges Buch.
Die Schnitte sind ganz toll, wenn man sie erkennt. Die Fotos sind leider zu dunkel und oft erkennt man die Schnittlinien nur wenn man beim Anleitungen schaut.Der Titel ist falsch aus Japanisch übersetzt, es sollte "She has a mannish style" heißen.Die Anleitungen sind mit Fotos gemacht und man braucht schon Nähkentnisse, um zu verstehen. Ein Punkt wird nur 1 mal erklärt und überall wird auf dieses Erklärung zugewiesen wenn nötig ist. Ich würde das Buch nicht an Nähanfänger empfehlen.Wegen den tollen Schnitte gebe ich 4 Sterne, sonst hätte ich nur 2 o. Max 3 gegeben.Ich habe bis jetzt 2 verschiedene Kleidungsstücke aus dem Buch genäht und bin total überrascht und begeistert davon!
Vom Stil her ist das Buch ganz in Ordnung, aber die Fotos sind so dunkel, dass man teilweise nicht mal die ungefähre Form der Kleidungsstücken erkennt. Die Schnittmusterbögen sind sehr dicht bedruckt, alles übereinander, so dass man beim kopieren *sehr* konzentriert arbeiten muss.Zu den Schnitten kann ich mich nicht äußern, weil ich mich, nach einem Jahr, immer noch nicht überzeugen kann, eins von den Mustern abzupausen – viel zu nervig.
Ich mag das Buch sehr gerne und habe auch schon einige Lieblingsstücke daraus genäht. Ja, die Fotos sind dunkel, die Schnittdetails erkennt man aber gut in den Zeichnungen.
Keine umferfenden Neuheiten, aber nette Sachen, hübsch fotografiert und gut beschrieben. Der Grundschnitt für das Tshirt auf dem Cover gefällt mir und es gibt ein paar schöne Krägen.
